Please Note
Our events are designed for guests who already know the basics of American Mahjong and are comfortable playing on their own — using the current card, completing the Charleston, and following standard rules. You definitely don't need to be an advanced player! These are relaxed, social gatherings designed for playing, connecting, and having fun rather than instruction.

We're creating a weekend where you can play, unwind, connect, and be completely spoiled.

Le Mahj Club is for women who love American Mahjong, meaningful connections, and elevated experiences. Our events are intended for experienced players who already know the rules and are comfortable playing without instruction — so play stays relaxed and uninterrupted, in beautiful coastal settings.

Questions & Answers
Yes. Our events are social gatherings rather than instructional ones, so they're designed for experienced American Mahjong players. You should already be comfortable playing independently — using the current card, completing the Charleston, and following standard American Mahjong rules.
Standard American Mahjong (NMJL). Please bring your current card. Play runs as open, self-directed games — no formal instruction.
Each event has its own registration on Eventbrite — tap “Reserve on Eventbrite” on the event for dates, pricing, and to book your spot. If registration isn't open yet, the button will say so and we'll announce it soon.
Absolutely — many guests do. It's a community built on new friendships. Come solo, bring your friends, or gather a whole table; you'll fit right in.
Our first retreat is at The Umstead Hotel & Spa in Cary, NC, in January 2027. Exact dates are being finalized and will be announced on the event page above and on Instagram soon.
